Gumband Overview

We’re Gumband—an award-winning software and hardware company powering the future of experiential marketing. Gumband is a platform that exhibit developers and creative technologists use to enable brands and agencies to control, monitor, and measure spaces and experiences.

Gumband was invented by interactive exhibit designers, working at a world-class creative tech studio, who needed a way to remotely manage the complex experiential activations their clients wanted to build.

Today, some of the biggest global tech and retail brands use Gumband to power their in-person spaces and guest experiences.

How does Gumband work?

Gumband makes it easy for brands to control their spaces from anywhere and turn experiences into fully measurable marketing channels—no matter what mix of tech is under the hood.

Exhibit developers integrate an exhibit’s code into Gumband, customizing most elements of the Gumband user interface to fit the exhibit’s functionality and requirements. They do so with Gumband’s three main pillars in mind:

  • Health and Management: Gumband helps keep experiences running. Built-in monitoring reduces post-launch maintenance, while IT can debug with live logging and custom controls.

  • Content Updates: It’s critical for brands to keep experiences fresh with up-to-date content. Teams can tweak settings, switch modes, and schedule updates across their fleet remotely. Gumband’s integrated CMS allows brands to build exhibits around reusable elements, making it easy to push remote updates, A/B test, and optimize experiences over time.

  • Measurement: Gumband provides marketing metrics for the real-world, measuring guest interactions, content engagement, and experience success. Gumband’s presence sensor can track how well spaces convert eyeballs to engagement.
